What if this autumn became the moment you gave your floral work more space, more ambition and more direction?
This autumn, Joseph Massie is bringing three new hands on intensives to UK School of Floristry in Manchester, each built around a part of the business he knows exceptionally well: wedding design, social media and large scale installations.
These aren’t simply classes in how to make beautiful flowers. They’re an opportunity to learn directly from Joseph as he shares the ideas, techniques and commercial thinking that have shaped an internationally recognised career, an audience of more than 400,000 people and a successful six figure floral business.
Across The Wedding Intensive, The Social Media Intensive and The Installations Intensive, Joseph will show you how to create stronger work, present it with greater confidence and begin turning more ambitious ideas into genuine business opportunities.
You can join us for one course and focus on the area that feels most important for your business right now, or attend all three and follow the journey from creating the work, to sharing it more thoughtfully, to delivering it at a much larger scale.
Create the work you want to be booked for
The Wedding Intensive begins our autumn programme from 1st to 3rd September 2026.
Over three days, Joseph will lead students through bouquets, floral wearables, centrepieces, urns and larger wedding designs, sharing the techniques and creative thinking behind the work before giving you the freedom to develop your own ideas.
This isn’t about copying Joseph’s designs flower for flower. It’s about understanding how he approaches shape, colour, movement, proportion and finish, then using those ideas to create work that feels relevant to your own style and the weddings you want to attract.
You’ll work with an abundance of beautiful seasonal materials, both independently and in small groups, with Joseph and our school tutors alongside you throughout.
Wedding photographer Zuzanna Salakova will photograph the finished designs, giving you a professional portfolio of images to use across your website, social media and client proposals.
For newer florists, it’s an opportunity to create the work before the larger bookings arrive. For established florists, it offers the space to refresh a portfolio that may no longer represent where the business is heading.
You’ll leave with stronger skills and, importantly, something exceptional to show for them.

Put your work in front of the right people
On 29th September 2026, Joseph will lead our new one day Social Media Intensive.
Joseph’s content received nearly 20 million views in 2025, and more than 400,000 people now follow his work across his platforms. That reach has brought students, customers, collaborations and commercial opportunities into his business. It isn’t visibility for visibility’s sake. It’s visibility with purpose.
During this course, Joseph will share the process behind it. He’ll explore branding, audience building, choosing the right platforms and creating content that supports what you’re trying to achieve. He’ll talk honestly about what has worked, what hasn’t, and how he continues to build content across several successful brands.
You’ll also see the process happen in real time.
Joseph will create a floral design live in the classroom, filming and editing the process in front of you. In the afternoon, you’ll create your own design and work through that same process alongside him, leaving with finished content ready to share.
The purpose of the day is to help you become more intentional with the work you’re already creating. Rather than treating social media as another endless demand on your time, Joseph will show you how to capture, shape and share your designs in a way that feels considered, useful and commercially worthwhile.

Become ready for bigger opportunities
From 6th to 8th October 2026, The Installations Intensive will take over the school.
This is three days of scale, structure, mechanics and ambitious floral work, led throughout by Joseph.
Students will explore urns, tablescapes and cascades, sculptural installations, meadows and archways, working both independently and in small teams. You’ll see how Joseph develops an idea, solves the structural challenges and takes a design from an initial concept into something with real impact.
Of course, creating something beautiful at scale is only part of the work.
Joseph will also share how he plans, prices and presents large scale designs, including the decisions that help prevent a beautiful project from becoming a very expensive mistake. You’ll explore a range of mechanics, understand how to approach logistics and learn how this kind of work can become a profitable part of your offering.
Photographer Zuzanna Lowe will capture the finished designs, giving you professional imagery that begins to show clients what you’re capable of at a much larger scale.
You’ll leave with more confidence to say yes when the right opportunity arrives, and a much clearer understanding of how to deliver it properly.

One course, or a complete step forward
Each intensive has been designed to work beautifully on its own.
You might want to strengthen your wedding portfolio. You might already create excellent work, but struggle to get enough of the right people to see it. You may be receiving enquiries for larger designs for 2027 and feel unsure about the mechanics, pricing or practicalities.
Choose the course that meets you where you are now.
Taken together, however, the three intensives offer something particularly powerful. You’ll create work that better reflects your ability. You’ll learn how to put that work in front of the right people. Then you’ll build the skills and confidence to accept larger, more valuable opportunities when they come.
All three intensives will be led by Joseph in person at UK School of Floristry Manchester. With just ten places available on each course, these are deliberately small, focused classes where you’ll be able to watch Joseph work up close, ask questions as they arise and receive thoughtful, individual guidance throughout your time with us.
Everything you need to create will be waiting for you in the studio, from vessels, structures and sundries to an abundance of the best seasonal flowers and foliage available. You can simply arrive, settle in and give your full attention to the work.
These courses have been created for florists who already have the foundations in place, but know there’s another level they’re ready to reach. Perhaps your portfolio needs to catch up with your ability, your work deserves a wider audience, or you’re ready to step confidently into larger and more valuable projects.
Joseph will be sharing far more than a collection of techniques. He’ll open up the creative ideas, practical methods and commercial lessons behind the work, helping you understand not only how to create something beautiful, but how to use that work to support the business you’re building.
This is a rare opportunity to learn directly from Joseph, live in the room, and we’d be genuinely delighted to welcome you to Manchester this autumn.
See you there,
Team JM.
