It’s been a good few years since I’ve been able to share some news like this!

This March, I am delighted to announce a project with the prestigious North Carolina Museum of Art - I am heading States side once again, as I exhibit as their guest at the floral fundraiser, Art In Bloom, presented by PNC Bank.

Art in Bloom showcases imaginative floral design as an innovative way for visitors to connect with The People’s Collection at the gallery. Bringing the art work to life through flowers sure is an interesting challenge, but it’s one I’m excited to embark upon and I’m really looking forward to witnessing how these installations will allows visitors to experience the exhibition in a brand new way.

“I could not be more excited to welcome spring with Art in Bloom at the North Carolina Museum of Art. Collectively we’ve been through a tough time over the past 18 months, and I know we all look forward to the respite that Art in Bloom provides, with its abundance of beauty, joy, and creativity. I know this Art in Bloom will be a wonderful celebration of natural beauty, and I am so, so delighted to be a part of it.”

This year’s large-scale platform installations will be themed to reflect the multiculturalism of the North Carolina Museum of Art’s collection. The installations will focus on American, British, French, Indian, Dutch, and Mexican cultures and the celebration of diversity continues throughout the event with live global music by North Carolina musical artists. Along side my installation, I’ll also be delivering a sold out workshop and lecture, with a focus entirely on the very best of spring blooms.

Art in Bloom tickets can be purchased directly from NCMA here.

Personally, I am so thrilled to be able to return to international travel and resume an inspiring programme of collaborations with institutions I greatly admire around the world. Stay tuned for updates about where I’ll be visiting next and keep your eye on my socials for a sneak peek at what I’ll be creating in North Carolina.

Until next time-
