I’m absolutely thrilled to announce a brand new partnership with the Institute of Flowers in Ireland.

This is something we've been working on for a few months and over the next few years, I'll be working with IOF to deliver a programme of education designed to support florists across Ireland, both creatively and commercially. Work that's not only about developing design skills, but about building the confidence, clarity, and structure needed to create a sustainable and successful business.

Education is central to what we do here at JMHQ. I’ve always believed that every florist deserves the opportunity to strengthen their skills, grow their creativity, and build the career they want and this partnership is about creating those opportunities, and making them accessible.

The Institute of Flowers shares that belief too. There's already such strength within Irish floristry, but structured access to high level education is transformative - it offers not just inspiration, but direction. Not just ideas, but the support needed to turn those ideas into something real and lasting.

We’ll begin this October with a two day Wedding and Event Masterclass, held at the beautiful Killeen Castle.
This Autumn I’m delighted to team up with the Institute of Flowers in person for a two day intensive workshop, but this isn’t just your ordinary workshop. It’s a portfolio building powerhouse. Featuring everything from large scale installations through to bridal bouquets and centrepieces, all paired with sustainable design mechanics - think Renewal, kenzans, and a whole lot more.

From there, we’ll continue with a series of online workshops created specifically for members of the Institute of Flowers, offering ongoing support across both design and business.

This is not about a single moment. It’s about building something that lasts. A long term commitment to education, to development, and to supporting florists in creating work that is both meaningful and sustainable.

Irish floristry is incredibly strong. This collaboration is about investing in its future, and creating new opportunities for florists to grow, refine their work, and build something lasting.

I’m very much looking forward to what the coming years will bring, and to working more closely with the Institute of Flowers and its members.

I’d love to welcome you in Ireland this October.
